"Caveman" is one half of a two part project. CAVEMAN/BATTLE WEAPONS One part, dark, earnest heartbroken soul, the other, super immediate high energy blasts of shameless good time funk. Representing a dichotomy that exists in the band and as an undeniable aspect of the human condition. A fact that is often left unacknowledged: that joy and sadness can exist in the same entity, and need not be exclusive. Sadness and darkness are real and ought to be recognised, but not at the exclusion of joy and fun. A duality that without a doubt exists in everyone.
