Laura Macdonald is one of the U.K’s most prominent women in Jazz. She began playing alto saxophone at the age of sixteen . In 1995 Laura was given a full scholarship to Berklee School of Music in Boston and graduated in 1997. Laura became the first winner of the Scottish Young Jazz Musician of the Year in 1997.In 1998, Laura became lead alto player in the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra.
Kevin Mackenzie is one of Scotland’s most in-demand musicians with projects ranging from Trio AAB and the Scottish Guitar Quartet to the Finlay Macdonald Band and Jenna Reid. He has toured all over the world and has appeared as a guitarist on over 40 albums. His groups have been featured alongside guitarist Robben Ford’s power trio, Bob Berg and Mike Stern, the Crusaders and Seminal Jazz figure Ornette Coleman.
